International Kendo Trophy – City of Alessandria
Welcome to the official page of the International Kendo Trophy – City of Alessandria, one of the most anticipated events in the European kendo scene. This tournament celebrates the noble Japanese martial art, bringing together athletes from various nations in a high-level sporting event rich in human values.
✨ The Event
The International Kendo Trophy will take place in Alessandria over the weekend of 15–16 November 2025. Two intense days of competition will be hosted at the Palazzetto dello Sport – PalaCima, located at via Ennio Massobrio 2, Alessandria.
🎖️ Competition Categories
The event includes five competition categories:
- Junior: male and female athletes aged 15–17, kyu or dan
- Kyu Individuals: male and female athletes aged 15+, kyu
- Dan Individuals – Men: male athletes aged 15+, dan
- Dan Individuals – Women: female athletes aged 15+, dan
- Open Team 3+1: mixed teams (men and women) aged 15+, kyu or dan (3 starters + 1 reserve)

Saturday 15 November 2025 – Individual Competitions
- 08:00 – Competitor registration and shinai check
- 09:00 – Opening ceremony
- 09:30 – Start of Junior, Kyu, and Dan (Men and Women) competitions (round robin and eliminations)
- 13:00 – Lunch break
- 14:00 – Resume competitions
- 17:00 – Semi-finals and finals
- 18:00 – Daily award ceremony
Sunday 16 November 2025 – Team Competition (3+1)
- 08:00 – Competitor registration and shinai check
- 09:00 – Start of team matches (round robin and eliminations)
- 13:00 – Lunch break
- 16:30 – Semi-finals and finals
- 17:00 – Final award ceremony
💳 Participation Fees
- Individual competitions: €25 (up to two events)
- Team competition (per team member): €25
- Participation in both individual + team events: €50

- Submit payment via the Stripe platform (link coming soon) – for competition fees only.
❗ Fees for the sayonara party and accommodation at the dojo (both with limited availability) will be collected on-site.

Benvenuti alla pagina ufficiale del Trofeo Internazionale di Kendo – Città di Alessandria, uno degli appuntamenti più attesi nel panorama europeo del kendo. Questo evento celebra la nobile arte marziale giapponese, riunendo atleti da diverse nazioni in un contesto sportivo di alto livello e grande valore umano.
✨ L’Evento
L’International Kendo Trophy si terrà ad Alessandria nel weekend del 15 e 16 novembre 2025. Due giornate intense di competizioni presso il Palazzetto dello Sport – PalaCima, in via Ennio Massobrio 2, Alessandria.
🎖️ Categorie di Gara
Le competizioni previste si suddividono in cinque categorie:
- Junior: atleti maschi e femmine dai 15 ai 17 anni, con grado kyu o dan
- Individuali Kyu: maschi e femmine over 15 anni con grado kyu
- Individuali Dan Maschili: maschi over 15 anni con grado dan
- Individuali Dan Femminili: femmine over 15 anni con grado dan
- Squadra Open 3+1: squadre miste (maschi e femmine) con più di 15 anni, gradi kyu e dan (3 titolari + 1 riserva)

Sabato 15 novembre 2025 – Competizioni Individuali
- 08:00 – Registrazione competitori e check shinai
- 09:00 – Cerimonia di apertura
- 09:30 – Inizio gare Junior, Individuali Kyu, Individuali Dan femminili e maschili (poule ed eliminatorie)
- 13:00 – Pausa pranzo
- 14:00 – Ripresa delle gare
- 17:00 – Semifinali e finali
- 18:00 – Premiazioni giornaliere
Domenica 16 novembre 2025 – Competizione a Squadre (3+1)
- 08:00 – Registrazione competitori e check shinai
- 09:00 – Inizio incontri a squadre (Poule e eliminatorie)
- 13:00 – Pausa pranzo
- 16:30 – Semifinali e finali
- 17:00 – Cerimonia di premiazione
💳 Quote di Partecipazione
- Competizioni individuali: 25€ (fino a due gare)
- Competizione a squadre (per ogni membro): 25€
- Partecipazione a gare individuali + squadra: 50€

- Provvedere al pagamento utilizzando la piattaforma Stripe (link disponibile a breve) per le sole gare.
❗ Le quote per il sayonara party e per l’ospitalità presso il dojo (entrambe a posti limitati) saranno raccolte direttamente sul posto.
